A Public Affair aims to engage listeners in a conversation on issues of international, national, & local importance with some novelty shows thrown in. The guests range from local activists and scholars to notable national & international figures. The hosts alternate throughout the week as do the focuses and topics. It is a call-in show that airs Monday through Friday from 12:05 to 1:00 pm.

The Wisconsin Book Festival is the state’s largest literary festival, with approximately 10,000 annual attendees, and one of the largest in the nation. This unique event inspires book lovers from across the region to spend a weekend in downtown Madison and transforms State Street into a vast, public literary salon. In short, the Wisconsin Book Festival is a high-energy, high-profile, public literary arts and humanities program that makes an impressive cultural and economic impact each year.

 Crossing Border Festival - 24 November (at The Hague) 2-4pm

 An interview with Susan Abulhawa on the release of THE SCAR OF DAVID’s Dutch edition “Het litteken van David“  The program is presented by OXFAM-NOVIB who is distributing 9,000 copies of the Dutch version to its members throughout The Netherlands. Oxfam is a global organization dedicated to confronting social injustice wherever it may exist. Susan will also be present at an evening reception to follow the event.
